Abstract:
Lasheen Group, first established in 1975, is one of the leading plastic manufacturers in Egypt / Middle East. Lasheen in the past years succeeded in penetrating many foreign markets. This was all achieved by its efficient management system and its highly organized hierarchy and staff.

1.0 Founders of Lasheen Group.
The founders are three Engineers, whom are well known in serving the Egyptian economy during the last 3-4 decades

1.1.1 Eng. Mohammed M. Lasheen - Chairman
Graduated as a civil Engineer from Cairo University in 1956. He worked in the ministry of irrigaton for six years. He studied in France and The Netherlands in1962. Eng.Mohammed Lasheen worked in El Khourafy Group for nearly ten years between Kuwait and Abu-Dhabi. He stared Cairo Contracting Co. in Abu-Dhabi in the year 1972 and returned back home by 1980.
Eng. Mohammed Lasheen is now the Chairman of Lasheen Group, Cairo leather industries, Khater International Trading Company, Cleopatra Hospital, and Norwood Services Ltd. UK.

1.1.2 Eng. Ahmed M. Lasheen - General Manager and Board Member:
Graduated as a Mechanical Engineer From Cairo University in 1962, he worked in the military factories for years. In 1973, Eng. Ahmed Lasheen assisted in establishing Cairo Contracting Company in Abu- Dhabi . He returned to Cairo in 1975, to establish what is called today Lasheen Group.
Eng. Ahmed Lasheen is now the General Manager and Board Member of Lasheen Group. He is a Board Member of Cleopatra Hospital, El Asher for Development and Real Estate industries, 10 of Ramadan Investors Association, and the Chamber of Chemical industries under the umbrella of the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

1.1.3 Eng. Sameh M. Mohsen - Board Member:
Graduated as a civil Engineer from Cairo University in 1970, he worked in University as an assistant professor for two years. In 1972, Eng. Sameh Mohsen assisted in establishing Cairo Contracting Company in Abu-Dhabi. He returned back home by 1985.
Eng. Sameh Mohsen is since then the managing director of Cleopatra Hospital.
He is a Board Member of Cleopatra Hospital, Lasheen Group, and Investor Society of El Ebour City.

1.2 Other Board Members:
Eng. Samy Mohsen is the Deputy General Manager and Board Member who graduated as a civil engineer from Cairo University in 1977.

Eng. Mahmoud M. Lasheen is a Board Member who graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from The American University in Cairo in 1993 .

Eng. Mahmoud A. Lasheen is a Board Member who graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from The American University in Cairo in 1997.

1.3 Lasheen Group - Manufacturing Section:
As previously mentioned, Lasheen Group was established in 1975. Lasheen Plastic Industries was born in 1975 in Al Gabal AL Asfar Area for producing Woven PP Sacks and Heavy Duty LDPE Sacks. After 25 years of this date, the manufacturing section of this group is one of the biggest converters of plastic polymers in Egypt. Lasheen Group now produces a wide range of products including PP Woven Sacks, Jumbo Bags , Heavy-Duty Sacks, Tarpaulins, Sling Bags, Air Mat, and Agricultural Films.

1.3.1 Lasheen Plastic Industries:
Always referred to as the mother of Lasheen Group. First established in 1975, Lasheen Plastic Industries was the first private sector factory in Al Gabal Al Asfar to produce what is known as the PP woven sacks and PE heavy-duty sacks. After years of glory and success, Lasheen Plastic Industries took a new legal identity in 1999 and transformed into an Egyptian Shareholding company ( Society Anonym Egyptian S.A.E ) Lasheen Plastic Industries is ISO 9002 certified since 1998 .
In addition to PP Woven Sacks and PE Heavy-Duty Sacks, Lasheen Plastic Industries is now also a producer of Jumbo Bags, Sling Bags, Tarpaulins, and Agricultural Film.

1.3.2 Lasheen Plast:
The new industrial areas were booming in Egypt in 1978. The increasing demand for the products of Lasheen Plastic Industries raised the idea of establishing Lasheen Plast in Tenth of Ramadan industrial zone. By 1985, Lasheen Plast factory was born. Lasheen Plast is since 1999 an Egyptian Shareholding company ( Socialite Anonyms Egyptian S .A .E )
Lasheen Plast is now a producer of PP Woven Sacks, PE Heavy-Duty Sacks, Agricultural films, and Air Mats.
